Newbie looking for thoughts on proposed cycle.

Hey guys. I have been reading and following the board for about 3 months. I am 34yo 5'10" 225#. And want to do some cycles to build some mass and power. Then do a cut cycle in the spring. Here is what I was thinking for a first cycle.

Sust. 250 mgs 2x wk for 10 wks
Deca. 300 mgs 1x wk for 10 wks
HCG 1000 iu p/wk 3 wks starting wk 11
Clomid 50mg p/d for 3 weeks starting wk 13

What are your thoughts? And how much protien should I consume during the cycle?
 
Well...

Your cycle seems reasonable IF you've been training hard and consistantly for several years, and you've cycled before a few times.
If this is a first cycle (and your questions lead me to believe it is), using the sust 250 ONCE each week is plenty.
If you haven't been training hard and consistantly with weights for several years, I'd try to get more mileage out of training and diet first.

You might consider adding some nolvadex throughout your cycle, and keep it going for a good 4 weeks after your last shot of AAS, especially if gyno is a problem for you. If you're prone to water retention, you may also want to add an anti-aromatase like arimidex, again keeping this going for 4 weeks after your last shot.

You'll probably want to shoot for at least 2 gms of protein per pound of bodyweight.

Thanks for the advise. And to answer your question, Yes this is my first cycle. I have been training for quite a while. I don't know if its because of age but I just don't seem to be able to get much of anything as far as gains with just OTC supplements anymore.
 
Here's my thoughts on a first cycle

1)Test E or Cyp @ 500 mgs split 2 times a week. 250 on Sun and 250 on wed. for 8-10 weeks. stack on 2nd cycle not first. If you stack your first cycle and develope some type of problem, how will you know which one of the steroids caused the problem? One steroid only first cycle
1a) You can also use for the first 2 weeks along with the test some Test Prop @ 100mgs EOD to help kick start the cycle.

2) Nolva 10 mgs thru out cycle to prevent gyno

3) 2 weeks after last shot PCT starts. Nolva or Clomid can be used for this.

4) If the testes start shrinking doing this time, HCG @ 500 iu's eod 3 days will bring them back.
