Hello all! I've been on HRT for over 3
Months and counting, even though my Dr has prescribe Anti E "anastrozole" pills and I'm taking them 2 times per week it hasn't stopped the affect of anti estrogen buildup on my system. I'm taking 150 to 200mg per week every 7 days. I've even reduced the dosage to 100mg to see if the side affects subsides. Nope!

I've informed the Dr of my issue and that I would like to switch to a better anti e... But that hasn't happened yet, just increased the amount of the current anti e medication to 3 times per week.. But I don't think that anastrozole works well on me, I'm considering going UG for my anti e. Just a few pills cost more than buying UG, way more w my copy from my insurance. The good thing that everything is being prescribed and legit and my health insurance covers most of my goodies but w a hefty co pay..

So any recommendations as to what anti e could be more beneficial for my needs??? I'm extremely prone to gyno issues even we the slightest AAS dosage amounts..

Thanks for the help!

I prefer Stane. Love it compared to Adex. My understanding is they don't recomend adex and Novladex. Their is a good article about it. Some of other AI's can be really harsh but I know some people do better with em like letro. There's some good reads about the diffent AI's pros versu cons.

Before you jump the gun, you need to get blood work done. Itchy nips/nipple pains does not always mean high Estro.

Estradiol, Prolactin, and TSH should all be checked. Talk to your doctor.

This is true. I have had gyno flare up with E2 and prolactin all in low norm ranges. Still never figured that one out though:cool:

What are some other things this could be a symptom of?

This is just some

Common Causes For Male Breast Pain:
Most causes of male breast pain are relatively benign. A few things that may cause male breast pain are:

Breast injury - from sports or work-related activities
Runner's nipple - irritated or bloody nipples caused during jogging
Mastitis - an infection of breast tissue
Breast cyst - a fluid-filled sac that may press on surrounding tissue
Fibroadenoma - rare in men, a benign breast tumor composed of glandular and fibrous breast tissue
Alcoholism with liver damage

Some of my friends would complain about itchy/sore nips, I told them to just ride it out and it would go away, which it did. Sometimes your body just reacts to all the different hormones, then it will be fine. Without blood work, it would not be smart to just change things up, especially if it is a life long commitment.

Thanks for the info.

I find that GH aggravates my gyno as well. IGF stimulates breast growth.

i am on 200mg/week test e, 3 iu hgh and 150mg week of deca. i was running exemestane (aromasin) at .8mg (thats not a typo) every 3 days for months without issue. about 2 months ago i decided to stop the stane and see how it affected me. about 2 weeks ago i started to feel the soreness coming on. waited it out for a week and it only got worse. did 25mg/day for 5 days and then cut back to 8 mg/ eod. so far so good. pain is gone!
like you i am also sensitive but a very low dose of aromasin is very effective for me.

I have same problem and have found that low dose letro ed will keep any sensitivity away ....have used it in higher dose to get rid of gyno in rt nip.....I seem to be very prone to gyno so I take 1/4th tab per day which tabs come in 2.5mg so .625 mgs .... I haven't had the bad sides from letro like some have and it works for me

snake

I'm on Anastrozole .5mg EW - the day after 80mg IM cyp.
Sometimes mine are a bit puffy or sensitive for a day. It goes away but I will take zinc and nettle to chase it away a bit too.
