I’ve never used it but I would just use it as instructed. I think spending multiple hours with shampoo in your hair likely isn’t necessary. What about longer, any extra benefits based on experience?
Would it be beneficial to leave it on the head for 1 or 2 hours then wash?

From my experience no. 5-10 minutes tops in the shower works well. If anything I could see possible sides for leaving it on for an hour or longer. The stuff is quite powerful and if you have any acne on the rest of your body it will actually dry it out within a day or two. So leaving it on longer could really possibly dry your scalp out. Some guys have reported fatigue from it, so could also highlight that side further. Personally I don’t recall much fatigue, but best to use as recommended and can help with hair shedding, by blocking dht at your scalp. What about longer, any extra benefits based on experience?
Pretty sure it’s just an fda thing so more money can be made off it. Then again, never knowI’ve always wondered why 2% needed a script! Like if it drips down your face without a prescription are you more likely to die or what?
I've used it for years.. I wash my hair first with a mild shampoo to remove oil etc from the scalp.. then I apply the nizoral .. this also helps it lather much better.. I leave it on 3 to 5 minutes as I wash the rest of my body.. then rinse off.. I use it eod and just use a mild shampoo on off days
My hair literally looks like I'm a cadt member in Grease 8 hours after washing it.. lolThat would dry me out too much. Only wash my hair 2-3 times a week. Ever since Accutane.
