No response to insulin?

ive been using AAS for a few years now and have been on other boards but no one could help me with this problem so ive come to you guys.
I started a cycle of fast acting insulin a few months ago, it was novorapid fast acting 3 times a day at 8ius. I didnt notice any real difference even after a few weeks. I never suffered any hypo symptoms. I then got myself a BG meter and took a shot of 8iu without consuming anything and kept measuring my BG level. My BG level did not drop and even after waiting for an hour without consuming anything I did not see any signs of hypo. I tried this a few times with different insulin pens and pens bought from the pharmacy and still no luck. I tried metformin for a while and didn't help. Ive always had a hard time putting on mass and maybe that could be linked.

I've never seen or heard of someone non-responsive to insulin. I'm sure it must happen, however rare. I'm also sure that with these experiments you are playing with nuclear dynamite.
When I ran slin it was Humulin-R.... I always had to be aware of the possibility of going hypo.

Have you checked your fasting blood glucose? What is your diet like? Body fat?
Sounds like insulin resistance to me

I believe im a non responder for the most part as I have tried slin with testing glucose and not much of a drop at all. I was up to 15ius pre workout and barely had to drink any carbs. I decided not worth it

Sounds like insulin resistance to me

fasting bg levels are fine. diet is quite good, have never been the binge eater type or chubby. never really been above 15%

any idea how i could test for insulin resistance and how it is treated?

Or maybe bad slin?

used about 4 different slin pens off different sources which others had good results with and at last resort got a slin pen from a pharmacy so i doubt it is the slin
