nolva only for pct?

After much debate I've decided to run test e @ 500/week. My question is will nolva at 40/40/20/20 starting week 14 of a 12 week blast be sufficient? It seems like there are those who swear by nolva and then those who swear by clomid. Is this mostly an individual thing as to which works better as pct?

I use nolva throughout my cycle in low doses. For my pct I have found that running HCG and Nolva are a slam dunk. Also for the final weeks of your cycle I suggest switching to a propinate or a shorter acting ester and inject a lower total but more frequently like every other day. That way the test will be out of your system faster when your cycle is complete allowing your hpta axis to reboot and test levels to reach normal resulting in fewer gains lost. A Test only cycle should look like this.

Week 1 750mg Total test.
I will do 500mg of enathate for the l ng acting ester but then mix in 250mg of propinate for faster acting. If all you have is test enathate then just use that but same totals.

I start week 2 about 3 Days after week one.
Week 2 500mg total if you continue to run prop split the ester. 250 enathate 75mg EOD
I run nolva every other day this week. Then every other week throughout. 20mg

Week 6 750 mg
Week 7 750 Mg
Week 8 500
Week 9 500
Week 10 500
Week 11 375
Switch to prop week 12 use no more test E only prop

you got the nolva dose down. With a Basic cycle like this you will be fine with just nolva. Get more advanced when you start runnning tren. You will want to run hcg or nolva during your cycle as well as your post cycle. Remember you dont want to block too much estrogen because having a little is good.

Worked fine for me

I did a Test E and anavar cyle for about 12 weeks. I used Nolva for PCT and it worked just fine for me. My friend did HCG and it gave him insomnia. I dont want to deal with that.

The whole idea of a pct is restoring your natural test levels as well as getting the testes producing sperm again. Nolva doesn't kick start the sperm production, only clomped & hcg will do this, they are a must unless you never want kids

Hcg is better used on cycle as it will keep lh levels suppressed but maintain testicular function. Clomid and nolvadex for pct

Absolutely agree with above. HCG during PCT will prolong LH recovery, but I always use it on cycle. The nolva should be good, but clomid alongside will also help natural test recovery.
