Thought on my recent blood work and advice?

I need to bring up HDL, bring down LDL and get my cholesterol overall looking better I feel.

On TRT 90mg/wk of exogenous Test *(subq) 3x 30mg week. 2iu HUMATROPE our day. I add 300mg Primo Enan sometimes weekly, but haven't done this for 5+ weeks now. My last cycle using Test P/Tren/Var was March 2018.

I translate this (I'm in the UK so different measurements) to:

Total Cholesterol - 212.68 mg/dl
HDL - 30.93 mg/dl
LDL - 181.74
Trig - 106.28
Serum cholesterol/HDL ratio - 6.9

Using this: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK33478/

Supplements:

400mg Curcumin per day
200mg Humanofort per day
2,700mg Omega-3 per day
2 Per Day - Life Extension
Vitamin K2 Complex
MacuGuard
1 TBPS Coconut Oil
100mg CQ10
600mg NAC per day
Injectable Vitamin B12 1000mcg 3x week

Were you fasted? Those triglycerides stand out to me as the first thing you want to reduce. The normal range is usually <150 but that's wrong. Under 70 is really what you want. Not being fasted before a blood test than give a false high. How is your diet?

I was fasted, yes.

My diet is relatively good I'd say, but I eat red meat daily - could that be a culprit? I may switch it out for more fish and eat red meat 2-3x per week.

I looked at my Trig/HDL ratio and its 3.4, which is really not good at all: **broken link removed**

My diet is for example:

Meal 1: Vegan protein blend 35g protein, oats, honey, cinnamon
Meal 2: 4-5 eggs, bacon, tomatoes
Meal 3: 60g chicken thighs, white rice, vegetables
Meal 4: 60g red meat (fillet), white rice, vegetables
Meal 5: 50g salmon, or white fish, white rice, vegetables
Meal 6: vegan protein blend 30-40g protein

I also snack on strawberries, watermelon, raspberries and other fruit through the day.

Dont smoke and have cut alcohol to once per month.

Weight around 220lbs 15-18% bf 5"11.

Need to get bf down, increase cardio, right now my only cardio is from weight lifting for an hour or so.

Adding:

Cardio 20-30mins 4-5x per week
Niacin
2g Krill Oil
Citrus Bergamot

I'll let someone with more knowledge on cholesterol elaborate, but carbs play a role in triglycerides - it's not just all about fat consumption.

I think cardio alone will help your lipids. If eating that much red meat, I’d drop the consumption down as you mentioned. I know ppl say it doesn’t have much negative impact on lipids, but I say otherwise.

Good cardio with GW. Your numbers will be looking good soon

Well it's only 60g of red meat. Not saying it isn't the culprit but that's not a lot.

At OP: how were your levels in the past?

I'd also cut out the bacon and chicken thighs.

Yeah I didn’t catch that. Doubt it’s causing much impact at all

He obviously is referring to the protein content there, not the weight of the meat...

I would agree that there's problems with the fat content of your diet. Too much saturated fats (including the coconut oil), and not enough mono and polyunsaturated fats. I would replace some of the fatty meat with leaner sources and in its place add in nuts, olive oil, macademia nut oil, etc. You adding Krill oil will complement that well.

Cardio is also a good idea, no need to go crazy though. Also, where is you estradiol sitting? If that's too low it may contribute to the lipid trouble.

Those numbers aren't horrible
Much better than what mine are
I got on Lipitor - brought it down fast. LDL came down 40 points in a month

ha-CRP is a better indicator for heart disease now. Check your inflammory markers if you haven't already.

Adding:

Cardio 20-30mins 4-5x per week
Niacin
2g Krill Oil
Citrus Bergamot

Also:

1 avocado per day
1 TBSP avocado oil
2-3 TBSP EVOO
Handful of nuts
Almond butter or peanut butter on 2-3 rice cakes.

Overall cleaner diet.

Will come back to this in 8 or so weeks and post my results.

Lol that bacon is fucking you up. Cut that trash meat out, fam.

Pork tenderloins and even chops are g2g in most circumstances, but like, legit pan fried oscar meyer bacon? Trash.

Looks good, for me nothing helps like Krill, GW + Cardio, that alone helps a lot on heavy cycle

Thanks for everyones feedback and advice.

Imagine adding a 17aa - fuck that! In the past Tbol has trashed my lipids.

Start eating 3 raw egg yolk every day , the one has higher Omeg 3, or regular egg yolk and take extra Omega 3, to bring the Omega 3 and Omega 6 rate to 1 to 1.
