Not everyone knows what you know, nor have your level of knowledge or experience. Not everyone experiences things the way you do.

I guarantee you if you search you won’t find anyone else talking about an increased startle reflex from a small dosage of NPP or any other AAS.

I would say the other way.. If you are so paranoic about the side effects NPP is giving you, just drop it. Easy move.

Are you sharing that feedback with your coach? He promotes himself as a PED guru so he might be able to validate (or not) your findings.
As I said above, if you don't feel comfortable with NPP (or any other PED) and looks like you are just collecting side effects and messing with your head, drop it. NPP will clear in few days and you will be able to see if everything comes back to normal. Then if you really need to use other coumpound, pick another one. A few experienced guys have said that the older they get, the lower the tolerance to NPP/Deca. It might be your case.
 
Sure would hate for you to exclude NPP forever based on such little info. Keep it in for the next month and do daily BP readings so you’ve got multiple data points. Throw out the outliers and the reevaluate. Then you’ll have a better idea.

I’m continuing NPP use. Just observing its effects etc., but so far these are so minor as to simply be observations, not true side effects (BP is managed, the reflex thing is just something I noticed that seemed interesting, but in no way an actual problem- more like a “huh, that’s kinda weird” observation).

So far so good!

If you are looking for something, you will find something. Just the way the human mind works. The whole correlation/causality comes in too.

What I'd do is let everything settle (analogy I made about throwing a bunch of levers at once, some double speed and some move in opposing directions). Let it all settle and then see how you are in 45-60 days. Evaluate at that point.

Or, and no offense to you, talk with his coach and see what he has to say about this. That’s what he’s paying for.
 
Caveat: I am a relative newbie. Only a few years in.

Deca was a no go for me. Way too much water and mental sides.

Going to give NPP a shot later this year (so I can pull it quick) with a lower carb diet.
 
I just don't do 19-nors in general, anymore. They literally make me insane. Tren or Nandrolone will have me interrogating my wife about her 3rd grade crush and considering a ladyboys trip to Thailand. Great look though. Damn. Maybe I should give it another shot.

NPP is honestly the "Goldilocks" of the nandrolone family for me. Deca is cool and all, but waiting three weeks for it to clear your system if your dick stops working or you turn into a weeping mess is a nightmare. With NPP, you get all those buttery smooth joint benefits and the thick, full look, but if the "Deca dick" or the mental side effects start creeping in, you can just pull the plug and be back to normal in a couple of days.

If you can't find Primo or Mast, NPP is a killer alternative for a lean bulk, but you gotta keep an eye on that prolactin. Some guys can run it with zero issues, and others get spicy nipples the second they pin it. I'd definitely keep some P5P or even a tiny bit of Caber on hand just in case. It’s way more versatile than EQ in my opinion because you don't have to worry about your hematocrit turning your blood into sludge or your anxiety hitting the roof. Definitely a solid "Plan B" that might end up becoming your favorite primary. Curious to see what kind of doses everyone else is running for that sweet spot!

I am conducting a study ... have you ever had your hematocrit go up a lot because of EQ personally?
