O/T Any opinions on the 350z

If you read my previous post, my car was stolen and I am looking to get a different car. I'm looking for something under 30g's that would be a decent daily driver, sporty, decent gas mileage, etc. Im not a real big guy 5'10 200.

From what i have read the 07 z's seem to fit the bill for me. I really like the G35 coupe but they start around 34k and thats more than i want to spend.

Anyone driven or owned one? Bad/good feedback would be appreciated!

camrys are nice rides to... im so indecisive right now on what to get.. part of me is saying buy a civic or accord for 20k thats cheaper and gets better gas mileage, etc. then their is another part of me that wants something a little sportier.

im 25 and just broke up with the GF of three years (u can see her ass in my avatar ) so it would be nice to keep a decent car. Not that I really need a car to meet women, I picked up my ex in a Neon, . But it does make you feel a little better.

my thought is that it CANT HURT my chances of getting ass.. maybe not help, but by no means hurt them. Plus its a pretty cool looking car for the money.

MY pick would be a BMW 328ci. It may be a little out of your price range but you can probably find a demo or certified one for a good price. Plus you have to remember that they have probably the best resale value of any brand. I really like the looks of the Z but the resale value is horrible. If you are the type of person who enjoys driving then then you will probably love the BMW.
Bmw is also coming out with a new model called the 1 series. It's pretty nice looking car and it's a little cheaper. You can see it at BMWUSA.com. I am always researching new models. Luckily I can only have three registered at a time. Let me know if you want more info because I can break this down to many different levels.

I think they're going to re-design the 350Z for 08. That should drop the prices on the current model pretty soon.

I think the 350 is the best looking car under 50k. I always stare at it.

Its kinda heavy and not the greatest performer, but for the price it can't be beat.

The Z is a nice looking car, I haven't been in anything recent though. Nice to look at. I went out and bought a new car through my GM discount last year. I was looking for something cheaper and more practical, but with as much time as I spend in my car I had to mix it up a bit. So this is what I did, I went and bought a Cobalt SS supercharged. They don't get that great of reviews in the magazines and what not, but I wouldn't trade mine for anything. I knock down 30+ miles/gallon, it's sporty, QUICK, fun and LOOKS GOOD. I enjoy it and you can get them for around 20 or less. I don't have money so there for I had to make the best out of the situation, thank god my dad worked at gm for all those years and my mom still gets his discount. I wouldn't trade that car for anything.

if your going to go Jap go with the Turbo charged WRX STI with a manual tranny. Its about 35k. Thats a sweet looking ride.
But I think the 2008 camaro is coming out.

The Z is a nice car but where are you going to put the food when you leave the grocery store? Get a car with a big trunk so all the food fits easily. Seriously though it doesn't matter. I have had a ton of different cars each one I loved for a different reason at first but after two weeks of driving it's just another car. Currently I have a Chrysler 300 with the shoes, grill, lowering etc and a Scion XB. Honestly I drive the XB all the time and barely ever drive the 300. If I could go back the money would be in the bank and the 300 would be at the dealership. Not because I don't like it but because I finally realized it doesn't matter what I drive as long as the AC is on full blast keeping me cool in Az. My only advice is save some green and buy used. Let someone else take the big hit.

The Camaro is not on back order, as it cannot even be ordered yet. They will roll the first ones off the line in 10/2008. In addition, those specs you have listed are from the Camaro concept car and are going to be different for the production model; it will not have an LS2 and the performance model will have much more than 400HP . Also the car will be mass produced and very affordable in comparison with the Mustang. It is definitely going to be a very exciting car and one worth waiting for.

As far as the 350Z goes, no offense but it is a car for chick's not guys. In fact you will probably have a hard time fitting in it. My wife had one back in 2004 for a few days(that is a whole different story in itself) and while it was fun to drive, it was not very comfortable.
