Growing up in Miami, as I did, I had friends who used to use similar boats in their import/export business Great guys to work with ... you got to make your own hours, the pay was phenomenal ... alas, no dental. And when the company went under ... it REALLY went under lol

That's funny. Ironically, I live in Palm Beach and I too know some people who were into offshore business. I rode on his midnight express a few times. Quad 300's made it to Bahamahs in about 30 minutes, maybe quicker. I was holding on for dear life.

untill last year my neighbor used to race boats, his last was a 47 footer with twin 1075hp merc's on it. Most of the boat was carbon fiber it did just over 130 on the water they (him and his team) raced on lake michigan and i believe the st. laurence once or twice.
