I use it from Japan to the US and it is very good. This will depend somewhat on your bandwidth though of course.

Oh, and these are video calls.

i've used it to communicate with others in different states, audio quality was fine. also did video calls the the audio on it worked well too

Use it when my gf travels to Middle East, Far East, Africa. Good to great results. Use almost daily to her mom in Italy. We did get Vonage however with free European calls so her mom doesn't have to be at the computer.
