Ron Paul has proposed a bill named HR 1207 which calls for an audit of the federal reserve. He is making great progress, but he needs your help!

Its an independent entity within the government, having both public purposes and private aspects.

It is supported by Congress. I don't know why people think it is "privately owned by some crooks"

if i'm not mistaken it was started by the same people who at the same time or later on were running the world bank. i think that this means it's not part of our govt. in any way shape or form....it's a big bank that prints out money and lends it to our govt for so much interest on every dollar. this puts us in the predicament of forever owing them, borrowing more money to try to pay back the debt we incur, having a national debt that can honestly do nothing but grow, and the best of the best......us, the american people being held responsible for paying federal taxes, which goes straight to the federal reserve to try to pay back that interest the govt. incurs by borrowing printed money.
