O/T Bobby Lashley TKO's Bob Sapp

Now I know Bob Sapp isn't exactly top of the world in MMA, but if he connects you're out. But for someone as inexperienced as Lashley to come in and dominate him is impressive. Sapp is just so damn big and strong. Don't get me wrong, Sapp is no Lesnar/Coutore/CroCop/etc.....but he's better than a lot of other guys out there.

I foresee a Lashley vs Lesnar within the next 12 months. There is just WAY too much money for the UFC to pass that up, assuming Lesnar is still champ (which he probably will be). Lashley is just rolling through opponents right now and can only get better.

Sapp is a terrible fighter. I'm not surprised at the outcome of this one. One of the things that did surprise me though was Sapp's weight for this fight...He weighed in at 322lbs...I know that's still huge, but he usually weighs 360+lbs.

I think everyone knew this would be the outcome.But Lashley is just getting going and progressing well.I think everyone is thinking lashley vs. Lesnar at some point.Two great wrestlers(not wwe b.s. but amateur) with great work ethic,exciting stuff.

I'd argue that most big 270-300+ lb muscular guys are as slow and as easy a fight as a fat guy of the same weight.

Trust me, if you train for only brute strength, you will be very tight, tense, winded easily, and most of all, SLOW. I'd like to see a really big guy show that size DOES matter but sapp is as big and strong as they come. The guy weighed 360+ with abs and was athletic enough to play in the NFL. Not saying he has the best technique but it goes to show that absolute size and strength has its limits, where past those limits its basically useless.

I agree , i spoke with a few friends that went this fight and they all said he has no buisness getting in a ring of any sort with an experiance fighter , this fella is supposed to have some pro fights but from what i was told he looked as green and the grass.

Lashley and Lesnar are for real guys.They both have all the physical tools along with mental strength which is often overlooked and not talked about.The only thing they lack is experience but that will build with each fight.I am very much looking forward to UFC 100!

Good luck with that. Lessnar knocked him down on the first punch last time and got caught with a leg lock. It won't happen again. This time Mir will be a bloody pulp.

Me too....I dunno if Lashley will ever go to the UFC alot of guys like the shorter contracts & bigger paydays of other sanctions

when someone is as strong and big as lesnar learns a little sub defense he will be very hard to submit. i think mir's only hope is a leg/ankle lock, because he won't be able to get an armlock or triangle on a guy like lesnar

exactly. strength wise, sylvia was nowhere near what lesnar is. plus sylvia is a standup guy, lesnar is a ground guy
