O/T Brock Lesnar needs major surg/ may never fight again.

Looking bad for Brock....


Brock Lesnar's health is much worse than originally thought and it appears Lesnar could have a very tough road ahead. UFC President Dana White told TMZ.com that in addition to having mononucleosis, Brock is "very, very sick" with some sort of intestinal disorder that will require "major surgery."

White told TMZ that he is going to visit Lesnar in the hospital and is trying to get him transferred to the Mayo Clinic, one of the top medical facilities in the world, so doctors can figure out what to do.

After postponing the Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin fight for a second time last weekend, White now says, "There's a possibility Lesnar will never fight again."

Agreed - I hope things turn out ok for Brock. I really enjoyed seeing him fight as he was always entertaining and really threw the UFC HW division through a loop.

If he gets better and fights and wins again, we will see a new Brock even if he loses. I am pretty sure this experience will make an impact on him and for the better. If he makes it out alright it will be an emotional moment when he wins his first fight or comeback title defense fight.

Sometimes we have to be hit really hard to understand how precious life is and what truly is important but these lessons are necessary for some and I consider them a blessing.

I hope the best for him and his family.

IMO, you don't have to like the guy, and he may even be a prick on screen, but I have to seclude myself from kicking him when he is down in the dirt. The guy is in serious shape, this isn't a fight in the cage, it's a fight for his life. There is a time and a place for everything, imo, we should show some class....."Even enemies can show respect."

That being said, i've read various reports, so I wouldn't go cashing in on anything until the dust settles. I've read other pieces with Dana stating that it is not life threatening, but his 'conditions' are kicking him in the ass....MONO + whatever else they found (not AIDS, etc.).

I hope he has a speedy recovery.

Cyst on liver. Sucks.
This is really too bad. Watching his fights wasn't that entertaining because he did just sit on his opponents, but he brought a kind of "celebrity"(for lack of a better word) to UFC that made a lot of people get into it.
I hope he recovers.

My prayers go out to Brock and his family.... It doesnt matter if you like him as a fighter or as a person, but at least respect the fact that he has a family that cares about him... This could be any one of us.... The guy puts his body on the line to feed and support his family, so we should at least respect him for that...

I doubt very seriously that Brock is that much of a prick in real life.. He just took his larger than life persona from the WWE to the UFC in order to market himself and sell tix.. And I'm quite sure that Dana White encourages him in his efforts....

I just hope he pulls through this..
