O/T Car question problem

For anyone who knows cars and or garage prices for work, does an estimate of $1,200 sound a bit pricey to repair a blown head gasket in a gm v6 motor?? Thats the total for all labor, parts, oil change, new coolant..etc...the werks..I bout soiled myslef when he gave me the estimate..

if that includes having the cylinder heads rebuilt its a fair price.

If that is just to change the head gasket your getting a new one ripped get another estimate in my opinion. MM

had a probelm last summer 700 for new ones for my Late model v8 u are getting ripped imo
