O/T driving cross country now?

Wife is in Wisconsin and is coming to CA in a few weeks. She has a brand new 08 Hundai Tuscon small suv. Not 4wheel drive though. Think its ok to drive here? She isnt taking the northern route,she'll be taking the route that goes throuh iowa,nebraska,colorado(rockies),utah,nevada

She'll be good, I've made that drive in a wrangler in the middle of march! The only place that would even be an issue is the vail pass and I think she'll be fine. Worse case scenario is the chain law is in affect and she has to have tires chained, but I really doubt it. Track the weather through there.

Cool she was maybe thinking of taking an extra day and heading more south, not sure if thats possible though. Where is the vail?
