O/T Honey moon in Vegas, things to do.

And I wouldnt even waste your time going to the gym. You're going for your honeymoon..relax at the pools, drink and have a good time. Gym will be there when you get home.. Thats the furthest thing from my mind when I hit vegas, and I go there 3-4x a year.

To be honest I originally mentioned the gym as we wanted to go and see golds flamingo where Jay used to train and a lot of the pros etc however since I've been informed it closed down years ago we probably wont bother.

Yeah my bad, but it means all of the things mentioned below. Be dressed properly, be ready to throw a guy a few bucks to cut the line, and have 1 girl for each guy. Sounds like its just you and your girl so you should be good.

Ok thanks for clearing that and I guess that needs mentioning on a bodybuilding forum as we have all seen what some people wear lol. But that shouldn't be a problem. I'm actually hoping I can get some decent clothes out here in bigger sizes. Struggle over here getting decent designer or smart clothes etc that fit.

I gave you list of pools and the best clubs.. Hakkasan night club is off the hook. Omnia just opened, and its owned by hakkasan group. It should be the newest hot spot..

I've heard of the Hakkasan club before so was planning on checking that out but thanks for mentioning the Omnia one as well.



With regards to general cost out there if you want to have a good time, hit some of the pool parties and get good tables / beds and a nice evening meal followed by a decent club what sort of $$$ are we talking? I'm not hard up by any means working in the oil and gas industry but at the same time I'm not rich lol - if that makes sense.

vegas is great in september, my favorite time to go especially since it is not extremely hot and there was a tiny breeze last time i went. during the day Caesar's pool is great, so is Mandalay Bay Beach. the lazy river there is excellent if you wanna just float around and have a drink. the bodies exhibit in the luxor is really interesting. for shows, cirque du soleil is always great. there are always a couple going on in vegas. i highly recommend if it is still at mandalay bay the michael jackson ONE show of cirque du soleil. it really was a good show. i saw penn and teller when i was there and that was very good, comedy and a magic show in one. you have to go to the RIO for it but there is a shuttle.

also, one night, go down to old vegas. that is a sight. some weird shit down there lol. but it is really cool with alot of the old casinos and such. kind of like travelling back in time a bit. you could also while you are there visit the Gold and Silver pawn shop, yeah know, Pawn Stars. the shop is pretty interesting.

when i went in september i went the same time as the olympia. i couldn't get tickets because it was sold out but i did go to the expo. i left with about 10lbs of free samples lol. also saw alot of UFC fighters, kai greene and some retired NFL players walking around the expo. i think the olympia week is the 17-20 this year.

Omnia wont be open for two weeks. But it will be by your honeymoon.

LMAO! Daylight at mandalay bay is open, I was there last year twice at that pool party. I go 3-4x every year, I know where all the hot spots are.. Hyde is boring, doesnt even compare to hakkasan, XS, tryst or Drais..

Wet republic is only good if Tiesto is there, other than that its lame..

Chris Angel show is great if you like magic, you should have sat in front row like I did..

You must not get out to vegas much, your recommendations suck..

Depending on how much you want to spend. You have to pay for comfort. If you want to sit down at a booth at the club, or a bed at the pools you're going to spend minimum $1000, but that is a credit towards liquor/food. I usually get a day bed or cabana at the pools.. Those start at $2500. Cabanas $3-3500.. Believe me, if your with 8 people, you'll blow through that easily.. Bottle service is expensive.. $5-700 for a 1/5 of Belevedere/grey goose..

If you want to eat well, you'll spend easily $100+ for 2 meals.. Vegas has some of the best restaurants in the world..

No problem. Pm me if you have any specific questions. I lived there for 2 years and I went out every weekend and knew all the clubs and pools. That was back in 2006-2008, so I don't have all my connects anymore, but I still know whats good and whats not. I have been back many times on vacation since.

I would say the best pool party is Encore Beach Club on Sundays, or DayLight at Mandalay. I liked Marquee beach club a lot but I think we went there on a Friday. Tao beach is good but its smaller, a lot of people go there like after they go to one of the bigger pools.

Hit up BiggMike, thats what I did and man we had a blast

I hate gambling, so I didnt spend a dime on that shit, but it was a GREAT time regardless of that being non existent. Go to some shows - cirque du soleil has multiple shows - we went to the one in the MGM grand and it was INCREDIBLE.

Also - look online into taking a helicopter ride over the grand canyon/hoover dam. That was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

Hit up old vegas for sure and preferably on acid (lol) - not really - but you'll feel like you're on acid after you see some of the crazy ass freaks that reside in that area and the things they do to try and get some change put in their cup.

Also, make sure to look up restaraunts prior to when you arrive so you know the best places. We definitely screwed up on that front. Vegas has the best food in the world so every meal should be meticulously planned out

Clubbing was a great time, that was probably because Mike kept hitting random people in the head (no one was excluded from his wrath) with a styrofoam rod thingy that people were suppose to wave in the air.

Me and my girl had a blast. Plan shows, plan food, and make sure to just takea stroll around one day and check out all the different hotels. Its an adventure in itself just to see the architecture.
