O/T - I GOT ENGAGED!

Sorry for another off topic thread, but wanted to tell my family here at ProMuscle that I asked my girlfriend, who I have been dating for the past 2 1/2 years, to Marry me. Some of you may have followed along in the counseling forum and read about our recent breakup and some of my recent struggles. I can no longer continue to live without this woman in my life. Being apart from her, I realized that you cannot simply cut out someone like this from your heart. I lose my sanity when she is not around. Its sort of like not being able to see and focus on the world because you need glasses. I'm looking forward to growing old with her until one day I am buried in the ground beside her. Of course her little girl already thinks of me as a Dad and that is an extra bonus. Becoming a husband and father in one day. We are both so excited. I'm looking forward to the day when we can have some littlemackattack's. lol. Have no idea where the ceremony will be held. Maybe Mexico. Maybe in the States. Going to get in a surf trip honeymoon(which is something we both enjoy). Got down on one knee. I have NO idea what I said, I asked her if I did "good" and she was in tears so I knew I had. It all came from the heart. Have not even picked out a ring. lol. She doesn't want a diamond after seeing the movie "blood diamonds." She's Irish and really into Celtic tradition and looking into matching Celtic rings of some kind with an unusual stone or stones. Want something with an old world feel and also unusual. She also suggested tatoo rings (for certain ughm...obvious reasons) and wear our bands over it. Littlemack...had been a bad boy.... We're over all that stuff now though and I have grown to learn a great deal about myself these past few weeks. 2nd marriage for us both and we both vowed that it will be our last. Got the OK from my best buddy Phil, so I knew I had done the right thing. lol. Thanks Phil for being there for me buddy.
Don't really know what else to say, except I am the happiest man on the planet right now.
So there you have it. Told my ProMuscle brothers before telling my own brother. lol. Looking at a May wedding date. Keep you guys posted with some photos!
