O/T: Just seen Inglorious Basterds

Tarrantino does it again fellas. Dark humor, great storytelling, and as always, good gore. It's a bit long, 158 minutes, but the story flows so well you'll barely notice you're in the theater that long. Brad Pitt plays his part to a Tee.

If you get the chance and like Tarrantino flicks, get to the theaters and see this one. Well worth the $5.75 matinee price I paid.

I enjoyed it myself it was a differenr reimagining of WWII. I really dig QT's movies. He has a weird obession with women's feet but I must say, Diane Kreuger has some sexy feet. Brad pit's character was pretty witty. The villan was played great! All in all a good movie.

hello

im new to this forum and i am just getting into this kind of lifestyle (serious training).
one thing i do know is movies!

my girlfriend and i went to see this just last night and i thank its is one of quentin tarantino's best movies to date.

be warned it is very graphic and has a bundle of violence.

Anytime guys. Now if you know your QT flicks, you know the kind of detail the guy likes to put into his movies. He doesn't put cookie-cutter garbage into them. He takes his time to tell the story, and Inglorious Basterds is no different.

Each "chapter" takes its' time and plays itself out. You must not watch the film, but pay attention to it. QT switches between English and French and German (in subtitles) frequently, which only adds to it's authenticity. There's plenty of action and gore, but you really have to sit back and pay attention. QT has spared no expense on the details for this film.

The original one from 1981 was really great. I haven't seen the new one yet, but I will this week. For a 1981 movie, the special effects were very good and even though there were no big named actors in it, they all played their roles perfectly. Go rent it and compare.
