O/T Look at my eye. What is this?

At first I thought it was pink eye but my actual eyeball is fine. Not pink or irratated at all. But my eyelid is swollen as fuck. It started about 2 days ago at night I felt a little discomfort on the far left side of my left eyelid. Just felt like maybe an ingrown hair or something. So last night I inspected it and the left side was a bit swollen. Then this morning it got worse. The whole rim of the eyelid is swollen. It doesnt hurt and my vision is fine. Anyone know what this could be? Maybe my contact lenses got infected? Maybe in ingrown hair? I really dont have time to go to the dr. due to my work schedule, so if tomorrow it gets double as bad again im gonna have to go to urgent care, but instead of getting raped on cost, I thought maybe you guys may have had this and know what it is. Im using some drops made for pink eye that have an anit-imflam with some other stuff in them by similarian. Im gonna try icing it tonight. I can get my dad to call me in some antibiotics if I need them but if I do which do you guys think is best for this? Here is a pic. I know it came out huge, but if you look at my right eye thats normal eyelid, then scroll over to my left eye and you'll see the diff. Thanks guys

It is a bad picture fourth, I had pink eye and my eyelid was swollen, it could also be an insect bite. Have a doctor look at it.

had that before. there is a special anti-biotic ointment you can put inside your eye lid.

I know the pic sucks but you can still see the swelling. Its a bit red now. Doesnt hurt much unless I rub it but still very little pain, just a bit of discomfort. I thought pink eye effected the eyeball as well. My eyeball is fine, just the damn eyelid. I tried squeezing in there and nothing is hard. I did notice that when I hit the gym today it got a bit bigger afterwards. Maybe I irratated it with bloodflow to the head(ie,decine bench,etc..)

Could be a stye bro. I had one a few years back. You get them from not enough sleep, or too much stress (which can result in less sleep)

I did actually get a new job and have only been getting about 6hrs per night opposed to my normal 9, and have been stressed more. What is stye? serious?

I looked at the pic here and mine kinda looks like that but not that red and doesnt have that white zit like thing to it. No change in texture, just redish and swollen.

Yeah it could easily be a stye then. Its nothing serious. They go away after you start sleeping, and sometimes they just go away after your body adjusts to new stress. I'd say give it a week, and start trying to get more sleep. If its not gone by then, see a doctor.

it doesnt always have to be a zit like thing. Just the swelling.

Dude that could be a sty. If it is stop rubbing it or it will spread. Every time you touch that eye wash those hands good. Do not use cold. Use a warm compress. I would take a tea bag and soak it for a bit. Then hold it on the eye for about 15 minutes at least twice a day. If you don't have the tea bag just use real hot water and a cotton ball. If you can get the script for the antibiotic that would be best as well.

I've had both, pink eye and stye. Stye's are no big issue. More or less
just a pimple on the lid. I pop mine with a pin 2 hours later good to go.

It drastically goes down when I keep an ice pack on it. Looks better today. I woke up this mornign and there was some green eye burgers there which I never get which leads me to think if it doesnt get better tomorrow its prob a bacteria. I may just use some amoxicillan for a week?
