o/t question about losing body weight

My friend has a question she needs answered for a class. Who can answer this question for me? A person loses 15 pounds of body weight. Where does the weight go?

I suggested water weight, fecal matter, and sword fighting accident. Those are not right...

Any help?

The body breaks down the fat and burns it as fuel , the result as to where it goes it making you move.

Look at it like gasoline for your car a lot of liquid goes in but little to none comes out due to it being burned away for energy , yes their is some carbon based gasses but its minuscule compared to what went in , so think of what little wast you produce as the exhaust

Depends, but purely for the sake of the experiment the answer you are looking for is most likely heat.
