O/T - Sunburn HELPPP!

OK as the rest of you that are in New York already know today was the first really nice day of summer so I decided to hit up Jones Beach. Now I'm a little fair skinned to begin with and it's been a whileeee since I've tanned so now I am beyond lobster color and it's starting to get a little uncomfortable. Does ANYONE know of any remedies for sunburn or any specific aloe/vitamin e lotions that are better than others? Thanks.

as a fair skinned fella myself ive suffered sunburns quite a bit. my favorite treatment when they are painfull is this stuff that comes in a little aerosol spray can called solarcain. its expensive, but if you spray it on the relief is immediate. as for lotions check the sunburn meds at your local pharmacy they have special lotions that wont sting when you apply em to sunburned skin, and will help get some moisture back into your skin too.

solarcaine works good for the instant releif.....then use tons of aloe over and over....like every 15 mins. I'm fairskinned as well and I've had plenty of burns living at the beach for years. Take care.........nuttin better than 100% pure aloe!!!!!

I burn really bad, damn swede genetics! I always used to put on aloe/creams and crap after I burnt. Then I read that putting crap like that on keeps the 'heat' in the tissue. Best thing to do is cold baths, cold wet towels and stuff.

rubbing alcohol as long as you are not blistered yet and don't have any open wounds it will take the sting right out... then follow up with aloe to moisturize.

This may sound alittle fucked up but it works bro. Go to a beauty supply place and get this stuff called Thera-fill. It is a type of hair conditioner. Rub that shit all over your body and you will have instant relief. Bigwil

Ahh....

Me and GNPOWER were out camping/ fishing this past weekend and I got burnt pretty well. The wife got me some stuff from "Clinique" called Sun Repair, or something like that. It looks like lime jello in a clear plastic bottle with an orange lid.

I SHOULD HAVE blistered, but this stuff took me from badly burnt to a nice tan in a few days. You can but it at Dillards or any store that sells cosmetics and sells Clinique products. I've been putting on 2-3 coats a day and it's not greasy and doesn't smell bad at all.

I give it 2 thumbs up!
