O/T time zone???

So I'm in NJ, and have mine set at eastern(US). But I'm still 7+hours behind real time lol

I assume you're talking about the time stamps of new posts are. Mine also says 7 hours ago when I see a new post and I'm also ET

When did I ever say that bud? It was never 7 hours behind before, so I was just asking if anyone had an idea why that is all the sudden

Probably just some glitch in the matrix.

Actually, it should and it does. It detects your time zone and you can adjusted it on your Control Panel. But it's not working properly.

Mine says GMT +1 which is 2:40, but it's showing 7:25. Even the minutes are wrong.

But this is a very old version of vBulletin, I wouldn't expect much from it.

But who cares. I don't even look at the time anyway.

I believe this just happened recently. In the user control panel I've had my time zone set appropriately since I joined, and I believe it's only been in the last 2-3 weeks that all of a sudden the time-stamps have been wrong (standardized to GMT-5 maybe?).

You can corrected it on Control Panel, you just have to pick the GMT+- that suits your needs.

In my case it should be GMT+1 but i have to chose GMT+7, or whatever it is, to
"correct" this glitch. But the minutes are still wrong no matter what.
