O/T Video format trouble (avi)

There are lots of pro videos out there to download, only problem is i cant play them back. I have quicktime, and Windows media player like 10 or something. It doesnt support the avi format i guess, i even tried downloading codecs so it could play them, still didnt work. Any advice?

still didnt work. said one or more codecs required. I cant ever play avi. files. jeeze

Should work if you've got the divx codec. But if you still can't get it to work, try using RealPlayer. Not as good as windows media player IMO, but can play avi's.

You can also try the VLC Media Player. You can run a search for it. That plays any and everything. I've had no problems with it.
