Thats pretty cool. If I'm not mistaking the armed forces dept has something similar. It can deliver food, ammunition, and medical supplies to folks to guys and gals dug in, in a fire fight.

I have also seen on the web a mini robot that looks like a half a tank. Very small. Strapped to it is a mini machine gun. A guy sits in a truck a few yards away and controls the little mini robot tank that has a small camera mounted to it into buildings. He sends in the mini robot to see if there are any hostiles in a building or around corners first. And if need be shoot at any enemies saving the life of a real soldier.

Truly american know how at work!

I would love to see things developed that have been popular in science fiction for years. Like mech-suits (battle exoskeletons) and more robotics.

Hmmm

Damn right its creepy. You guys do realize why that thing is being developed besides for use in war right?

It is the ultimate Big Brother toy. Will be used to patrol cities and the like. Armed with cameras and weapons, its guaranteed to scare the hell out of any citizen deemed a threat. Think about it!
