O/T.. what are some of your fav movies?

I cannot refuse the need to watch both Shawshank Redemption or American History X if they are on.......doesn't matter when or where, they are being watched in full if I see them on. I think I have seen Shawshank literally over 100 times.

Rounders also is very close to that way for me as well.

Not sure why, they just suck me in every time.

City of God is a good one i haven't seen mentioned... Having my 2 year old son(turns three in a few days) I've learned to like kid movies too... I really like Despicable Me 1+2... and Open Season 1+2 as well...

Too many to list. Three movies that always get replayed on cable and I'll still watch; Shawshank, Platoon, Predator. So many good lines in these movies.

I forgot Wall Street (the original from the 80's) and Platoon. 2 really good Oliver Stone Movies.

The Wolf of Wall Street and Boiler Room were also good flicks about crooked financial firms/white collar crime.

Oh Gone girl !!!! What an amazing movie Gone girl was

Wolf of the Wallstreet was probably the best movie I saw last year... Leonardo Di Caprio's performance is just AMAZING!! :headbang:

And Gone Girl was indeed one I loved too... machiavellian!


Lately, KINGSMAN is probably the most entertaining I've watched.

Best movie I saw in the past year was Grand Budapest Hotel...I knew it was too comical to win the award for best picture, but was also amazed that Ralph Fiennes didn't get a nod for best actor. No movie last year made me feel as swept away in the movie-goers-experience as that one. It was almost too charming.
