Well, my mom put Alum powder in my mouth once or twice for cursing when I was little and I don't remember it being particularly traumatic.

For me, the cold shower is what went way over the line; at no point should disciplining a child involve nudity on anyone's part. That shit is just disturbing.

I was mentally and physically abused as a child. Along with my three brothers. i have never hit my daughter and i never needed to. Children can be reasoned with. It is parents that are usually always the culprit behind kids with bad behavior.

I 100% agree. That is just flat out humiliating. I wouldn't be surprised if the kid has some issues with nudity in time as a result of associating nudity/showering with bad experiences.

My sister was an out of control child that was excessively rebellious and did not respond to typical forms of punishment. My parents still managed to discipline her without harming her in any way, and she turned into a normal adult with a family of her own.
This woman is a shitty parent that has no clue how to raise a child.

I agree with everyone here. I am the first to think i little kid needs that ass whooped when they act out. However cold shower is over the line and really hot sauce is not acceptable either. Kids are much easier to deal with then most parent make it. It simply comes down to the fact that most people are not fit to be proper parents for whatever reason. I got soap once or twice and i got whipped with a belt. I always thought it was a fair punishment for my actions. Those are not fair for any action.

The problem with this is, no it won't affect him now, he will even forget about it cause of his age. The problem is he will remember later in life and he will have a certain amount of issues with his own children and wife!! My mom has been a drug addict my whole life, this video brought back the abuse I went thru as a child! Yes I have lot of resentment towards my mom, but in a way I thank her, cause with my children I parent in a whole different manner, I always questioned every thing I did before I disciplined them

Wow...this is why this country have so many psychopaths shooting people, in schools and everywhere...because even the parents are psycho.... there are sooo many better ways in disciplining your children, this is really unthinkable
