O/T: What were the best years of YOUR life?

What were the best years of your life? As a child at age 8-12 playing every sport and being a great student? As a young man exploring the world from 18-24? As a party animal from 28-34? As a settled down man enjoying early retirement from 48-52? As a lost and soul-searching 38? As a man who finally was able to reunite with the love of his life at 24? As a man who finally attained his ripped and huge physique at 35?


I would love to hear some stories as well. Maybe some stories involving how they were the best years of your life, i.e. nights of drunken debauchery, sleeping around, or making lots of money/losing lots of money, or finally finding out who you truly are and what you're made of, or how you met your current love of your life, or how those years really made your career take off, or the crazy tales of your crazy roid dose years, etc.

My life has progressively gotten better the older I become. sure, there are not-so great years, and really awesome ones but, overall, life keeps getting better. I do think that has to do with forward thinking and sacrificing instant gratification(casual sex, spending all your money, taking a lot of drugs, trying to get as much free time as you can vs working as much as you can) for the betterment of tomorrow. Living a life without entitlement and recognizing that you are your biggest problem in every single thing that happens to you.

I've had lots of drugs, women, and enough money to acquire both in my young years(15-25). Now I'm a business owner, married, 2 children, and have more free time, more money, travel the world, great outlook for early retirement, and generally don't have much stress because of sacrificing luxuries in the day to day(car payment, starbucks, eating out, buying every new gadget, doing 20ius of gh, etc.)

I guess it's the difference between recognizing what is fun and what is enriching your life(commonly opposed to each other), which ultimately allows for more fun later down the road......at least for the middle class working man.
