Seems as if you have bought into the left wing media layoff hype. As you can see, many of us here still have jobs. What a miracle. Guess what. I am working overtime because our business is so good. I don't feel guilty for still having a job, and I don't feel guilty for getting overtime too.

HYPE?? My company has never laid off, EVER, until this year. Sure people still have jobs, and compared to other countries we still have a very low unemployment rate, but compared to what the US is used to, the UR is pretty high right now. No one said you should feel guilty about having a job, I sure as hell don't, but I hope for the best for those who are unemployed.

Laid off autoworker, went to school back in SEPT of 2008, 2 months left for my HVAC/R certification and taken the buyout the company is offering now$70,000 grand and 6 months of health insurance . Heating and air pepole still need it .
