O/T Who hopes Auburn can win the Iron Bowl

I am probably going to get a lot of shit here for this but I don't think Ohio State deserves to be in a title game. They have played 1 team in the top 25 all year and that was at home against Wisconsin where they only won by 7. Not saying they are not a good team; just don't think they would be undefeated if they played the same schedule as teams like Bama and Auburn.

I agree totally Ohio state imo not even top 10 team there schedule is a joke

home field and being able to throw against Alabama will be Auburns only chance to win this game. Personally I think they're going to have problems passing which will probably end up costing them. Should be a good game

Sportsbook currently has Bama favored by 10.5 .. that should tell you something

Other game to watch would be A&M and Mizzou because if Auburn/Mizzou win they'll be facing each other for the SEC title.. be curious to see how the BSC rankings react since both Mizzou/Auburn have 1 loss and FSU/OSU will most likely go undefeated. OSU still has to play Michigan (garbage) and MSU @ home. both winnable.

with that being said I dont want to see OSU play FSU... but I dont expect Bama to lose

I wouldn't doubt it if unranked michigan beats ohio st this weekend.

They haven't lost in two years. I say give them a shot if either Bama or FSU loses a game. Baylor lost, so they're done, and Oregon isn't what we thought they were. I always prefer championship games with two undefeated teams.

Well Fresno and Northern Illinois are also undefeated but no one is beating their drum to be in the BCS championship. Its not simply a matter of going undefeated, especially against a lesser schedule. There is a portion of the equation which is who did you play and who did you beat.

Of course, but OSU's schedule was still better than Fresno and NIU. And don't forget they will have to beat a good team in the Big Ten championship game if they win

I hope auburn crushes them. Unfortunately that might put tOSU in the title game and they've played no one because the big ten is cupcakeville. Even with a loss ESPN will find a way to put 'bama in the National title game like they did in 2011 over a more deserving oklahoma state team.

Look at how many good teams are in the sec. Ok state in 2011 would have lost 3 to 4 games in the SEC. Look at what moving to the sec did for Texas AM and Mizzou. Took good programs and made them great because of the recruiting alone. Honestly, if Bama loses Auburn still has to beat Mizzou. I say the winner of the SEC game plays an undefeated Fla State over Ohio State because as everyone keeps resonating Ohio State does play anyone. Still regardless of what team is I. The bcs championship lets all just hope for a good game because the playoffs are around the corner and once that happens I would not be surprised if you saw 2 sec teams playing for the title more often that not.

No... both of those programs have not been in the SEC long enough for that to be true.. overwhelming number of contributing players were already at the schools before the move

I believe Auburn will win this game because they will do exactly what they did in the A&M game. Auburn will keep rotating the defensive lineman to keep fresh legs and in the 4th quarter they will be strong. Once they start getting to AJ McCarron he's gonna fold. Bama hasn't seen a running attack like this either. Yes Auburn will need to have success in the passing game but at Jordan Hare with the fans I think Auburn wins. Bama don't want to get in a scoring contest with 'em. Gonna be a great game!

Yeah Tex AM first yr in SEC did very well...and those players were/are big12 recruits.

And they almost beat them again this yr...with the same big12 players.
