O/T You know it's hot when.............

These pics were taken in South Australia. They have been suffering with a record setting heat waveof well over 100 degrees F. 40-44C.

Now these creatures known as Koalas do not generally like water all that much. But this little one had to get relief frommt ehsearing heat. So it did what any intelligent animal would do.........looked for some cool spot to get out of the heat. He climbed up on the back porch of this house and the householder saw it was in a little distress. So she grabbed a big plastic bowl and filled it with water. Put it in the corner of the porch and the following pics are of what happened next........................Must have been unbearably hot!!

that would be awesome. I had a black bear come real close when I was in Colorado, he was about ten feet away, he just wanted to dig through the dumpster though, i was happy to sit there and watch. he was a friendly guy. also big......i think i was just buzzed enough to not be scared....my dad was freaking out

i LOVE koalas. Thats the first stuff toy i remember getting as a kid. I saw them on animal planet and wanted a teddy one really bad.. I still have the teddy around. will post a pic.

HAHAHAHAH well let's just say it is Fucking wet!! LOL. No flooding here but further north they are not as fortunate. Roads are cut to some places and there is more, much more on the way. But we are fine here JC. Floyd and Waldo say hello and I mentioned to Jules your message. She laughed and said yes it is true!! Hopew you are having fun in the sun my good friend. We are singin in the rain here!!! LMAO!

I personally LOVE heat. But I don't get to feel it much as air cond in the house, car and office.

Nowhere near the fires. I am in the middle of the city. Too much concrete around.
