Off Topic: A question for the Euro guys

I'm not a very big Mopar guy. I'm pretty much a Chevy fan till death. Joe Rogan has a pretty badass 1974 Plymouth Cuda that is pretty insane looking. I'd rather have a Malibu if I could have my choice but Rogan's car ain't too shabby.

I was a big fan of Mopar, First car was a 67 plymouth furry, but my
pride and joy was a 1970 barracuda (Cuda) first year they came out
with the coupe. 340 engine, posy rear, headers with traction bars.
rebuilt the engine myself with a high performance cam oversize pistons
and so on. amagin what it's worth now. Stopped making them in 74..........

PS.. Had to do these little adjustments to keep up with those damn 396 chevelle automatics

There arew two Muscle cars on my wish list the first:
63 split window coupe with the 327 fuel injected 375hp engine
63side2.jpg
63rear.jpg

And the second is the Bullit Mustang that Steve McQueen drove in the movie. Quite plain but had all the goods. 428 cobra Jet engine and beefed up suspension.

The Bullit is not supposed to have any badges on it ;)

We know you are busy, but can you post pics?

Respectfully,
Boo

Pics of some of the older ones are in the archives. I think just mentioning them is enough.

Lotus Esprit, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and I just bought recently a genuine Lotus LeMans racer which should have its full restoration finished next week. Those are my toys.
Bentley Continental GT as daily driver.

Watch how many more hating posts about me will hit various boards now!

You have great taste in cars my friend! Can we see any pics?

...amagin what it's worth now.

Yeah, I hear ya! My uncle was a big Mopar fan had a Hemi GTX and Hemi Roadrunner, (a '72 I think) and both show-winners. I remember when he called me and said he sold the Roadrunner for 10k to his boss (office-rat) because the offer was too good! This was about 1987...Those cars in that condition, I dunno what they'd be worth now.

On the original topic, so as not to completely hijack lol...It's slightly different in the central EU and ex-Eastern Block. Mustangs and 'Vettes get a lot of respect here as they are a bit more rare than the Ferrari's in the area.

My dad loves the Italian exotics though, so my allegiance lies there.

Yea I know that but this was the best replica I could find. The one in the movie was a classic. The only other Mustang I would prefer is the Shelby GT500. The one that put out 500hp. Not many around these days.

what about the ssc ultimate aero? imo one of the most bad ass cars on the road, and also the fastest.

Kind of interesting( not about supercars ), my girlfriend has an Indian friend. Over in India they look at the big American SUVs as prestigious. Over there the normal cars are Mercedes and beamers. The American vehicles cost more due to importation, just like the Mercedes and beamers cost more here for the same reason.
This, American luxury SUV's are appreciated in Europe.

I'm here in Germany and since there are so many American soldiers here and all they buy are mustangs and Camaros and the like, they really aren't anything really unique. Lambos and other ultra high end cars are still so exclusive that even though they are made in Europe, they are still rare.

On a side note, my neighbor (who is very rich) bought a Ferrari California on a whim when he and his 14 year old son went to look at cars. He took me for a ride on a curvy mountain road and scared the living crap out of me! I guess I'm not the adrenaline junky I thought I was!
