Yes and its also a ye ole name for the Great Horse (Belgian Draft) or work horse, you wont find the name in many places used in the USA.

The Belgian is a horse of great strength. Also known as the Belgian Draught, Belgian Draft and Brabancon.

The Suffolk Punch descends from the medieval 'Great Horse' brought to ... and different varieties of saddle horse) were mated with Brabancon stallions.
