I have booked a special holiday for me and the wife after a tough year.

i have booked 5 days at the trump hotel soho new york.

we have been to nyc before and loved it and we did the known sites.

my request..

best things to do in soho, greenwich village, meat packing district etc.

places to visit

places to eat (both pricey and cheap)

places to go out for drinks/nights out

places to shop (wife is clothes freak)

There's so much to do there. My contribution would be, "The Blue Note". It's a jazz bar where some of the heaviest hitters have played. Even if you're not a jazz fan, it's great to see.

bobby flay's resturant - mesa grill (resturant week might still be going on and that is a 3 course lunch for 24 bucks a person, very good deal)


iron chef morimoto has a resturant in nyc as well and i believe that gordon ramsey (hell's kitchen) has a resturant in the city too, but i could be wrong on that one.

Lots of good places in hell's kitchen along 9th/10th Ave

Breakfast/Pancakes/Brunch:

Beer Bars:
The Ginger Man
Valhalla

Shopping:
Columbus Circle
Generally along 5/6th Ave in midtown
South Street (you could check out the bodies exhibition there as well)

Deli's:
2nd Ave deli
Katz deli

What bars to go out to will depend a lot of what kind of crowd you're looking for

yes and dont forget mario batali, probably the best italian chef in the us.
