Yep, I learned that the hard way. When youre really caught up in it though its hard to get out. Sometimes it takes something like a heart attack to force you to change your ways.

hey my "OLD" friend LOL (as you know we are the same age). You are really looking amazing! How did you do it and not work out for 3 months? Must have some secret Your diet obviously was right on to get the striated look that you have.

I know where you are coming from. I get reminded all the time that I am not 30 years old again, but my mind thinks so! Be very careful BUT I DO understand your drive to compete at our age because I have the same drive.

Please keep us posted on your progress; sorry I didn't reply to your thread until now but with my work schedule and workout schedule (which it seems I do more each week like just adding StairMaster) I have hardly had time to be on here like I would like to. I will try to log in alot more often.

He says it's because my mitral valve just started leaking and because it wasn't leaking in September he's concerned. Also because of my age all things heart related can happen rapidly. So he wants to see some stabilization. Hey, but I figure I'm just like an old Mercedes Benz, something gives out eventually. As good as they are, they don't run forever.

NOT TRUE! they do run forever - they just become high maintenance, and at some point, become a big pain in the ass......LOL
