I have always shopped at 2 different grocery chains.. whole foods, and a local supermarket chain called schnucks. (compare to shop n save, dierbergs, fairway, hi vee, etc)
I have been buying my meats at whole foods, and my eggs at the chain store. the chain store sells regular eggs, but recently i switched over to their omega 3 enhanced line.. it is a store specialty brand.. they are like 2.79 a dozen. on the label, it says 660 mg omega 3 per egg
however, at whole foods, the most omega3 per egg i can find is 225, and that is in brown eggs... which are 4.99 a dozen???
What gives?
Is the label at the discount chain lying to me, or did whole foods fail to get the healthiest egg distributor?
