Antihistamines usually have the opposite effect for me. They wire me up for some reason. But Trazodone works well enough when a sleep aid is needed.

Yeah I am too. Although mine just is just the standard release. I’ve had insomnia for a while, but refuse to touch thc, benzos or the harder things so high dose melatonin it is.

At 46 year old have not done any cycle in a few years, just trt, with periods of trt plus( max 150mg test, 2iu GH, and very random shorts run of Anavar). I decided to put in some mass again, NTN crazy, so I go for 500 test and 200 Masteron, upping GH to 4iu a day. Here is the PROBLEM, as soon as I up the dose night and early morning anxiety kicks in, and can't sleep my usual 7-8 hours, I wake up 2hr earlier than usual full of energy and positive anxiety ( meaning that fortunately I have a very beautiful few months coming up with lots of exciting things happening, new car, new house, new gf, a vacation ecc........
So i Need something to make me sleep properly, as sleep to me it's extremely important in recovery and well being. When I was younger I wouldn't feel any difference on cycle, but now it's a huge difference.
I tried melatonin, valerian root and gaba, they work for a few hours, but after 5hr I'm completely up and can't get back to sleep, full of this positive anxiety in my head giving me a sense of adrenalin rush!! Which is fine during the day and in the gym, but not at 4 or 5am when I need to sleep .
I was thinking about XANAX or something similar, but I don't want to get used to it and then I can't sleep without it in the future. How bad would be to use something like that for 3 months straight while on cycle? Any suggestions?

Honestly thinking about it after reading that post I realized that I am not feeling that bad, I kinda if feel a bit tired, but at the same time in full of energy and have no issues dealing with all my daily tasks, hard training included. So looking into it I think it's my mind telling me that I must be tired cause I don't sleep my usual 7+ hours. So maybe, and it's maybe, if I stop stressing about it so much I can just live fine with a bit of less sleep when on this small cycle. That said I bought CBD-THC oil (50_50), did a tiny dose last night and I slept more than usual, I also didn't do anything else, not even melatonin. Tonight I try the suggested dose and see how it goes, it might be the right solution. I didn't know u can take such a high dose of melatonin. I was worried to take too much at 10mg...... melatonin really works for me, so no harm in taking 20 to 30mg? I'm sure at that dose I can sleep 8hr straight.
