ONLY CHANGE WAS GOING TO GRASS FED BEEF

On second thought, eat whatever you want bro, good luck:D

Use your brain and think about it for a minute instead of blindly following scientists with ulterior motives.

Buy it then if you can afford organic. Not worth it imho, just my .02

Organic does not necessarily mean grass fed like these guys are talking about.

Right, the clip was on organic produce, not beef. Still, I thought it was interesting and sort of relevant since the term 'organic' is used in this thread.

That's a blanket statement, sounds like you think all scientists have ulterior motives. They could have, but they may also not. I'm sure you don't think all scientists don't use their brains.

There are a lot of hippie health nuts who have no idea what they are talking about, such as the couple in the clip. So it goes both ways.

ironone1 did ask a good question, is the grass fed beef the only contributor to improved blood profiles. What if Phil had just switched from non-organic beef to organic beef, would his profiles have improved as much? It's hard to say since people often don't make just one change in their regimen.

Yeah my post was in response to the one right above it since ironone was saying organic while guys like mountaindog are talking grass fed(which often is organic as well, certified or not) and they aren't necessarily the same discussion. There are organic sodas and frozen dinners... and well organic everything at this point because it's a hot selling point and people will pay more just because it has that word on the box. I don't believe that's the sort of thing people are really endorsing as

I watched the entire Penn and Teller show, it was entertaining but the things we are looking for from the food they just don't have the time or desire to break down. Would make for a more informative show, but certainly not that entertaining haha. The taste testing part was pretty telling on people's bias' though... quite funny.

I was just watching the one food show on the History channel where they showed how they were feeding the cows for beef. They showed the feed they were giving them which was a mixture of grass, corn, grain and something else. The final step to get them from 600 to 1200 lbs was a shot of fina, lol :D
