Oral minoxidil...

like how m

like how much?
I guess nothing too terrible. What I’ve noticed is that my nose and ear hair grow quicker, so I really have to stay on top of that. My beard grows crazy fast too, and I’ve had to trim it more often since starting this protocol. I can’t stand chest and back hair, so I shave those a few times a week with my wife’s help.

Never tried the shampoo. But I do take minoxidil in the morning and every night and I am very pleased with the results.

My only regret is that I didn’t start it 50 years ago when I started losing my hair.

There is a photo in another thread (a very long and informative thread) of the my head to give me some cred.

Zero sides too.
you take minoxidil 2x a day? Isn't the half-life 36-48 hours. Just curious, take mine one time at night before bed. Is there a benefit in splitting the dose?

Just use an oral syringe to take the topical minoxidil orally, they are 50mg per ml.

I use 2.5mg of minoxidil and 1mg of the dangerous drug finasteride a day for over a year. It's been a game changer for me, full head of hair at 57yo. No sides effects, no dick issues just hair regrowth. Only drawback is hair grows everywhere.
Did you have a receding hairline or just hair loss on top? I hear the hairline is the hardest to grow back because it’s a slick bald spot ,but you are definitely on two powerful drugs for hair loss, btw ,oral minoxidil is king by far , but useless unless taking fina or durasteride along with it ,there is a member named black beard , he is to hair loss what bubba gump is to shrimp , a waking encyclopedia of information

Why bother to take dangerous drugs like finasteride and oral minoxidil when you can get a Fue hair transplants from turkey for about $3000 all done in a day. If you are using DHT steroids finasteride and oral minoxidil will do nothing anyway .
You do know my friend even with a hair transplant you have to take fina or durasteride ,or your new hair will fall right back out again , if you want to keep hair , you will have to be on for rest of your life , even with hair restoration surgery

For me it was mainly thinning and small bald spots on top, not a true receding hairline. You’re right, the hairline seems to be the hardest area to bring back. My hairline has always been solid, and since starting this protocol I haven’t noticed any decline. It’s stayed the same, and for me the real benefit has been the regrowth and getting rid of the bald spots.

The first place you start losing your hair is the last place it regrows.

It is much like fat loss; the first place you start storing fat is the last place it’s removed through diet.

Sambo44, how old are you?

Not true. The hair that they use for transplanting comes from a part of your head that is resistant to DHT. So the new hair is not going to fall out.

yes, still taking finasteride.
I had nonnegotiable side effects to duta and fina so I had to stop them. No big deal for me just thought I’d try them out, but I don’t think I was on them long enough to have an opinion on their effectiveness.

Thats wrong I am afraid . Hair Taken for a hair transplant is from the sides or lower back of the head and even beard , which are DHT resistant . Now you usually have to get more than one hair transplant if you are prone to aggressive hair loss. I have had two Hair Fue Transplants for full coverage consisting of 12000 grafts from Turkey at about $6000 . I did Finasteride/Minoxidil foam in my 20s and yes it does slow hairloss down but if you are destined to be a NW6 it will still happen ;). The side effects of Finasteride were brutal weak erections and brain fog, plus Having lower DHT levels just made me feel like shit. Since getting a hair transplant I never have to worry about hair again!

Yes ,I’ve heard a few guys say that now , so I guess I stand corrected , can I ask what they do if you are completely bald ? no hair whatsoever, does that mean a hair transplant is not possible, obviously that is what I would think ,But I was watching a video a while back about a guy who had a hair transplant, stopped taking his hair loss meds and lost his transplanted hair , I wonder what happened with him ? That is why I asked about being completely bald , maybe he was totally bald before his transplant if a transplant is even possible for someone like that , anyway that definitely great news for hair transplant guys lol , guess I got the wrong information, thank you
