I wanted Germany to win the world cup from the start. I like the way they play. Shame Brazil had to go out like this. I was gonna bet on over 2.5 goals but I decided on both teams to score so I am hoping Brazil get 1!

disagree on that.. neither team in the last few games has looked that great then again when you're facing the knockout stage teams no game is going to be easy. Talent wise Brazil has more talent than either of those teams and far more than Holland but again.. game isnt won on paper and players have to play. Didnt happen today.


Regardless, Brazil was not ready to play today and it was obvious from the 1st goal on. Body language was that of a shocked/defeated team. I felt Germany would win but to say they would curb stomp Brazil I'd have bet everything I own that wouldnt have happened.

I want the Netherlands in the final but my head is telling me Argentina 1-0.

Germany was obviously a team that could win the World Cup going in along with Brazil/Argentina/Holland..then I had Spain/Portugal (whoops) so I'm going to go with them for the World Cup final.

What I find sad in all this is how many footballers or pro players get to play in front of their home crowd in their careers? Of all the footballers firstly how many make the team? Then to be on a team that has a veritable chance? Finally coincidentally to have the WC be in that country? This is an opportunity not just any football fan dreams of but even a pro player could dream of. All this to say Brazil choked big time, to such an extent that it was embarrassing and thus the opportunity vanishes away like a fart in the wind.
