OT. Amazing video showing the development of a military droid

Just thought I had to share this. Amazing video. Pretty sure it is CGI, and done amazingly well. I cant tell it is CGi except for the fact that the feats it pulls off just aren't possible yet.

I don’t care how smart the inventor is, I don’t know If any of them would be willing to have a robot with a live weapon shooting as they keep pushing it and attacking it from all angles risking getting their head blown off lol let alone when the guy jumps in front of it when it’s shooting a target and it “knows” not to shoot lol

I know it! I do think someday that will happen though. Its just a matter of time before this becomes reality. We wont have to risk as many lives in battle as we do now. Droids like this could go into towns in Afghanistan and hunt down terrorists. Have a few live troops out there leading the droids. Send the droids first into a building to stir up the terrorists and absorb some bullets. The droids could even go sniff out roadside bombs. Endless possibilities. Im thinking that friendly soldiers would have some kind of special coded device on them that would help the droids identify them as such. A specific digital code, like a password.
