I'm 29, 30 in Sept. I'd like to think I still considered a young'n, lol. Luckily where I am it's first come, first serve so you can camp out the night before a release and be assured to get them for retail.

If you mean replicas, never. I've gotten replicas from eBay before, (not intentionally) and they never fit right, the soles and air bags turn yellow quickly and the quality is just not up to par (stitching, paint, etc). There are plenty of places to buy legit sneakers even if you don't camp out for them on release day. Just don't expect to get them for retail...

Those are the Jordan IV'S (4). The red pair just came out yesterday and the white/cement came out last February.

The original 4's came out in 1989, and yes, quite a few colorways have retroed since.

Yes, you can find the originals on eBay occasionally but they are very expensive. In fact just finding the Jordan 4's that retroed in '99 will cost you 5-600 bucks. You also have to understand you can't wear the originals if you're lucky enough to even find them. They are 25 years old and will crumble quickly.

The toros are just the name of that red colorway for the Jordan 4's. The next pair of 4's to come out are the green glows on August 17th.

Good luck finding OG Jordans anywhere. Most retros are pretty close. The Jordan 3's just got re-released a month or so ago and they are almost identical to the originals. Unfortunately they were an online only release but you can find them from resellers. A few sites to check that have legit stuff are

I am 34 and my brother is 30. We have been in the shoe game for 4 years. This collection didnt happen overnight and its an addiction......


As for "fakes" there a shitload out there. Do a little research on the buyer before you buy. I have bought "fakes" before and didnt even know it. Safe bets are buying from footlocker, champs, eastbay etc..... Here are some more J's!!!

If your really interested you could find a sneaker con in your area. They just had one in Miami and NY. They attract some crazy characters but you can find the OG's. Check it out.......
