I am interested in what the PM members have that are essential to making their lives easier/better. Okay, obviously not ESSENTIAL, but things that help you out.

I scoffed at robo vacuums, but now I love mine. Sure it is not as good as a normal vac but it does very well on dog hair etc. It is an Ecovacs.

A random one but I managed to blag using my cpap diagnosis confirmation ironically a extra large reclining chair that can turn into a bed for morbidly obese people who basically live in a chair that’s rated upto 600lbs

Mainly because I noticed after a while whichever side of the sofa I sat on or chair the springs would go faster 😂

It was expensive but well worth it

Good quality mattress
Air fryer

Also honourable mentioned

We have 4 dogs and 4 robot vacuums lol.
As far as cooking, we love this. It's just okay as far as air frying and toasting goes, but it saves counter space and folds up if I need more counter space. I hate clutter so this is perfect for me

Robot vacuum! A 3 year old, 13 year old, and a large dog...it's a lifesaver.

Everything made in a Sous Vide is better. I don’t use my grill, oven, or stove top unless I’m making rice, eggs, or random foods.
Is it worth it over a crock pot? The plastic and vacuum sealing seems like extra steps to me. Disclaimer: I do just prefer simple.

Yes I think so. You can get a $30 vacuum sealer from Amazon with like 2000 yards of the bags for it. I use a sous vide called Annova. You can control it from your phone and control the exact temperature you want something cooked to. It also doesn’t matter if you’re running around and can’t take it out right when it’s done, the temperature will not go whatever you set it to. For example if you want a medium rare steak, you set it to that temperature and boom. Throw it in a screaming hot pan for a minute and you’re done. It also comes out super tender. But you can do anything with it…cook fish, veggies, beef, chicken, pork, whatever.

I hate the crock pot. Eating out of it is okay, but if you bag or pack the meals, they dry out unless you also store the juices.

Sous Vide is easier because you’re doing packing the food before cooking. Once it’s done, your meats stay sealed until you want to eat them. I’ve kept chicken 8-9 days in the refrigerator and it was still fresh upon opening. The meat remains tender and moist because it doesn’t leave the juices. Even if you use half of what’s in the bag and repackage some of the meat for later, the texture and consistency is way better than the crock pot.

I’ve done most meats, potatoes, and even apples.

This is one thing, cooking related, that never leaves the counter.

I have baked, air fried etc.

It can sear the fuck out of a steak almost like a cast iron.

It is also smoke free.....the caveat is the inside of the lid is basically impossible to clean.

I love this

Favorite thing still to this day…rice cooker 😎👊🏻💪🏻
I was thinking to buy one, is it a huge diffrence vs cooking it in a pot, and how much rice can you put in it if you are meal preping for 3 to 4 days worth of rice, what do you like about it the most?
