Check-out the Otomix's! I wear the OMP's for scrutineering and swap in the Otomix for the driving They are so much better for driving than any race shoe!

How do you stand the heat?! I cant even stand to wear my helmet with the visor on, I take that off. I see some at the track dressed like that and it sure is a lot safer. That suit is very flame resistant I bet. Nice looking gear!

Sometimes it feels like hell in a race suit here in Australia. I've done track days at over 40°c (104f) in the shade, combined with engine temp you can cook bacon on the dashboard. My brain goes to mash on those days and my lap times suffer.

Big A, do you use cool a suit/vest?

My favourite driving is street racing at night in the Adelaide foothills. Some amazing roads that get used for Targa racing, has cost me my licence a few times over the decades. I spend my time on dirt/gravel now for fun.

See that thing protruding on the side of the helmet? When in the car, it's hooked up to ice cold air that circulates around the helmet.

Funny story - I was racing at TopGear man years ago, in middle of summer. It was 42'C+ (110F). No cool suit and no air con in the car. I had to go out without the flameproof undersuit, just the race suit on as I was cooking.
In between races, I went through a back door out the back of my pit garage, which led to a big field. Noone around. I was dying of heat in that suit, so I unzipped it, dropped it to the ground and I was just standing there butt naked, dick swinging in the breeze. All of a sudden, there's a TopGear grid girl next to me, politely informing me that those doors are not allowed to be used for security reasons.. Not once did she look down at my manhood
