OT lowest glycemic index rice?

Just wondering if there's anything with lower glycemic index then basmati Rice?

Jasmine rice digests way too fast and almost makes my hypo. Can easily clear 2.5 cups of it and be ravenous 1 hour later.
 
Many carbs rice, potatoes, pasta etc. that i have seen can have lower GI by cooking first and then cooling for a few hours.
 
once you go brown (rice ofcourse) you never go back. or something like that

I may have to look into this brand as a friend just stared using it recently as part of his low glycemic diet
 
Is it because you don’t like the taste of basmati? Random store bags of basmati is trash, get a sack of Royal Basmati you’ll be happy.

I always cook rice and then let cool for a couple hours.
 
Add fat to tour rice too. I eat mine with a little kerrygold butter

This. A little butter, salt and pepper and you'll forget about it being 'just rice'. Season that bitch up and even a small amount of fat slows digestion considerably. Mind you I don't have numbers or anything to back this shit up

It definitely slows digestion. And it tastes awesome. I also love to season my rice with furikake rice seasoning. Added bonus it’s got a ton of iodine in it
 
Any of you guys ever try black rice. Its supposed to have equivalent amount of nutrients compared to blueberries, or so the advertisement goes. Its actually pretty good but much more pricey than regular brown.

I can’t stand black rice. I have a thing with weird textures and it’s crunchy and strange. But yes, it’s very high in anthocyanins which makes it black

Texture is absolute shit..I’ve got it twice before..not fulling me a third time

sacrificing hours a day working out, yes
Workout injuries, no big deal
Jabbing myself with needles, I'm ok with that
Eating rice that is slightly different texture that regular rice...Hell no! :p
 
Thanks for the replys everyone! Yes logically one could use fats but my macros per meal are pre determined by my coach. Just trying to find a way to enjoy chicken, rice and Pineapple without starving 45 mins later and feeling like I'm going hypo lol.

I have limits…one of those limits is absolutely refusing to be miserable..I enjoy everything you listed there..but I refuse to eat something that I hate and that I have to literally feel every damn bit of..black rice is the goddamn devil
