OT/ Message to PC gamers out there

LOL, yeah I was Maldorf on EQ. I started the first month it came out back in like 1997, I think that was the year. I was a Paladin and played for about 4 years. When I quit my playing time online was over 370 days So I was on that damn game over 1 year of the 4 or 25% of the average day! Thats why I dont play MMOs anymore. Although that new Star Wars The Old Republic is tempting when it comes out

Yeah I was in several during my years on there but its been so long that I cannot remember the names. If you were to throw the names at me I would recognize them if I was in them though. I was really into it for awhile, but with teaching full time and having babies I was not able to keep up and the guild left me in the dust. I wasnt able to get into most of the zones they had in the planes of power.

My wife and I started playing a MMO game together for a while. I noticed it was becoming a problem... We both started getting fat, I stopped and hit the gym hard again. She wouldn't stop, I kept trying to get her to get up and do anything active other than sitting on her fat ass.

It got so bad she wasn't showering, one night we were haing sex and I almost puked, he tits smelled like armpits lol. She ended up losing her job because she was falling a sleep at work. No matter how much I tried to get her to stop playing she would get mad at me and tell me I was trying to control her.

Eventually I just gave up, she found some guy online that didn't mind her being chubby and smelly and she moved in with him and to this day she still plays that game probably an average of 10 hours a day. Lost her job, her health, her marriage, for some fucking pixels on a screen.

No lose for me though, back in great shape, been dating like crazy. But I regret seeing her become an addict like that though.
