No matter how many times i see the rocky movies, i still sit on the edge of my seat when the fight happens. The music gets to me, still pumps me up. :)

Every time it looks like Rock is about to give up and he cant do it, he taps into something deep in him and all of a sudden comes out guns blazing. Its like a crazy high rep set of squats. on the way to 20 reps you start to fail at about 12 and somehow get 20. then you collapse after. But through the blurred vision and choking the puke down....i hear in my head... "Yo Adrian.....I DID IT!!!" lol

What movie character inspires and pumps you up?

Rambo and Conan are neck and neck for me Rambo for being able to keep going thru the pain and Conan for having the drive to hunt down and kill all the ones that made him a slave i remember being 5 or 6 and after seeing conan i would push shit around the yard cause i thought it would make me big like him

Tough to beat Russel Crowe in Gladiator.

Or the story behind Rocky. Sly was a starving actor and he was offered i believe $250k for the script. Way back when. But he wouldnt be the star. He turned down the money. Now that took amazing guts. Thats real world amazing admiration.

I been watching Rocky for most of the day today while my girlfriend had to work!!! It dont matter which board you go on...when they show Rocky movies on TV someone always post something about it on the message boards :) lol

Totally agree with Rocky and the story behind Sly writing/starring in it while being a starving actor. Movie still holds up great 35 years later.

Oh man! For me, hands down, it would have to be the king (leader of the Vikings) in the climax of The Thirteenth Warrior. Holy shit! That's one of my favorite movies.

Disclaimer: OK, Antonio Banderas is in it ( :p ) but this movie made me like him as an actor.

Hulk Hogan in all the wrestle mania's.....NUF SAID:p

Working Out Wise- Arnold(Pumping Iron)
Life - Charlie Wilson(Charlie Wilson's War)...both true story's

tough to choose just one.....i do like the thomas jane punisher though.

I'd say the squad that went out to save Private James Frances Ryan is pretty inspirational :D

That story has been debunked many times. It was created just for publicity for the movie. I know :-(, i used to believe it too at one point

Forrest Gump- Tom Hanks... Sure it's not your typical "guy movie" per say, but he changed history over and over again. Moral of the story- Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't do anything.

I like non-fiction training videos with the likes of Dorian Yates, Mike Mentzer, Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman, Bas Rutten, Royce Gracie, Marco Ruas etc.

The other night I was on the treadmil and starting watching -O'Brother where art thou-got so into it I didn't realize until the movie was over that I had been slow running for 2 hours

Brokeback mountain
