Question. How did you manage to get these supplies? I would suspect the shelves would be empty of those survival items now . . . or did you get them between storms? (Glad you did.)

Right after the last hurricane shut us down two weeks before. I Amazon'd everything including my generator. Had all of it delivered just in time no lie lol

The one lesson I learned this time was buy more damn gas because I was down to my last gallon until I finally found a gas station. I had to wait over an hour in line to fill my gas canisters up and my car. This one was brutal.

Tampa here too. Did you see the news about the dog chained to that fence abandoned on the side of the highway and the trooper found it in a pool of water? They found the owner and arrested him. That was bs!

I saw a lot of bad tempers at the gas stations. I saw police hanging out at a lot of them because of the fights.

Yeah the police at the gas stations was wild, And the lines for the the gas stations too, literally cars for miles (hundreds and hundreds ) of cars, and everyone waiting hours just to get a tank of gas and to refill their generators.

I filled up before the storm thankfully, but even then still almost ran out of gas after driving too and from Orlando and not being able to find any 93 octane for my car.

And yeah I saw the thing about the dog... hate stories like that, but I'm glad they found the guy

The gas deal is so real. We used to live in a powerful wild fire area in Northern California, have had to evacuate twice. I remember the first time I was down to a quarter tank so I went out looking to fill the car up, soon to realize to the line was a quarter of a mile long! And that was the case with all the gas stations. Lesson learned, keep the car fuel topped off.

And then again, I live in a state that shakes . . . without warning and that just sucks especially since we live too damn close to a major fault.
