OT-Troubles seeing at night sometimes

My night vision is terrible. Since starting bp meds two weeks ago my day vision is blurry.

As people get older their night vision usually gets worse. They have less caritenoids in the eye.

This is something that has just recently happened to me. Night vision is just a big blur now. I'm seeing a doctor within the next 10 days.

Finally being proactive and my appointment is WED. My vision has been so bad the last few weeks its become quite a nuisance. Its an easy fix (typically) and its ridiculous that I would put up with it any longer.

Wearing glasses at night doesn't help at all in the rain. Tonight I scuffed up my rear passenger side wheel bad when I ran up over a curb I couldn't see at night in the rain! Luckily the tire seems to be ok.

It was at the entrance to the parking lot. It had one of those triangle shaped curbs in the middle to divide the in from the out. The angle is real tight and the lot had little light to see. Frustrating. I was picking up meds to prepare for gum surgery next week. They're going to cut strips off of the roof of my mouth and transplant it to around a couple of my teeth.

Ive not heard of that, but I do know people that never before had to wear glasses to read, but after the surgery they had to get reading glasses. So it seems to fix nearsightedness but then makes your vision of things near worse.

I have been wearing contacts since I was 19 (45 now)
At 38, I had Lasik. Best thing I ever did for my short sightedness.
But while I had crazy good up close vision before, now I need reading glasses and each year is getting worse. My long vision is unaffected.
I always, and still do, have had perfect night vision.

Yeah, that's what the people I know have experienced too. Seems to be common.
