I guess we have a soft spot for bulldogs. The pup was out of the male in the center and the fawn/white female. We sold her because we just didn't have room for another one. We also have an American bulldog also. After having bulldogs, I just can't imagine owning another breed. They have such personality/character and almost act human at times. They are such great dogs.

In the winter, she loves to get in the dryer after the clothes have dryed.

This is the pup "Jesse". She has a happy home in Odessa.

This is my American "Otis". I rescued him from a very bad home. He was mistreated and very sick when I "took" him. He was starving and had Hook worms, Round worms, and Whip worms along with infections in both eyes. He is my number #1 best bud. This dog has been thru hell and back with me. Never missed a single step right by my side. Anytime I get up to move anywhere in the house no matter day or night, he's right there. Most loyal dog I've ever seen in my life. He's extremely protective also.

I have an english myself. She's about 9 months old and I, as you stated, can't imagine having another breed. So much personality and they are hard headed little devils haha. I can never get mine to sit still!

I am a huge fan of bullies, and we have two...See avatar pic - that was when the baby was 8 weeks old (she's 3 now, but about 41 lbs - def small compared to the standard). My first boy is so easy going and such a good "mama's boy", and she has much more spirit and tenacity - and needs about twice as much attention and stimulation!

I can't imagine having 3 or 4, tho - I pretty much fund the vet's BMW as it is (even with well-bred dogs and premium food, vitamins, etc)! I love the pics - esp in the dryer!

Oh yeah, and I love the American - what a beautiful dog!

We've had very few/minor health issues with our's. The fawn/white femal is ~6 yrs old and she hasn't had any issues at all. We had some food allergys that developed in the brindle female we have. This is one of the benefits of buying from family breeders who only raise one or two litters of pups a year versus the breeders who raise dogs for showing and keep the best one and sell the ones that don't have the characteristics they want. Usually these are the dogs that have the worst health issues, allergies, hip issues, eye problems.

We feed them Salmon & Potatoe formula made by 4 Health. It's made specifically for Tractor Supply by Diamond Foods. We've never had any issues with it. Even the female that has food allergies can eat it with no problems.

The American that I have has had a rough life. He was in bad shape when I rescued him. I got him back in good health though with no problem. He fell out of the back of my truck 2yrs ago. I was going 65mph down a two lane highway. I was also pulling my boat. We had been at the lake. It's a total miracle he lived through it. It's amazing that the boat trailer didn't run over him. It skinned him up real bad all over and bruised him up bad, but lived. I rushed him to the vet as soon as it happened and he walk in on his own. It layed him up for a couple days from being so sore, but he was just fine. He is one tough dog. He doesn't ride in the back of the truck anymore though. I have a blazer and if we take him with us, he rides in it.

Nothing better than a bully. I have an english bulldog boston terrier mix. He has the goofiness of an english with the pep of a boston. Pretty cool mix.

That is a fantastic looking American Bulldog! You are right, they are the most loyal dog you will find...and smart too. Can't say that about our English Bulldog though. He's like a cat in a dog's body.
