I’ve actually began pairing biceps with chest and triceps with back and I’ll alternate in between the two. No interference with each and allows me to keep each muscle intense.

This is one reason I hate ppl. After chest and delts on a push...I feel like doing tris does them a disservice. It's half ass training. Where on an arms day I can superset them with biceps I feel a much better connection. I recall trying an "upper day"...chest/back, then delts...I got to arms and I felt like I was just going through the motions.

You are missing the ENTIRE point of what he just said dude

Worse than no gains, since the muscle is already spent and not firing well, you end up putting extra stress on the tendons and ligaments of the elbow.
 
I guess this is AAS related advice, but I’ll save @danieltx and @bbxtreme the hassle for once and say pointlessly donating blood 😂

Kidding aside....I was in a gym in columbus (at world gym, where Sam Sulek trains now often) and you had guys like Mike Francois, JM Blakely, Brian Yersky, countless other pros and top amateurs and there was a lot of suck fests [insert Reno 911 reference]. Not with those guys I mentioned by name! But many others. It was fairly open. I remember going to do a photo shoot and it was openly asked if I'd just do various gay acts like asking if I wanted a sandwich. It was just "out there".

This isn't me being weird it seemed really common 20 years ago and I know (well FB friends, I don't know them personally anymore) several married guys now that did all kinds of g4p to support their habits. It seems like overall that died. It's just not a thing anymore, which is good.

EDIT...this isn't commentary about being gay, it's specifically about heterosexual bodybuilders doing gay acts for money to support a habit...which seems to have died and was really quite a popular way to make it in the sport 20 years back.

Several guys in this thread have denied that there are cutting and bulking steroids

While every steroid that works well for bulking will work equally well for cutting, there are a couple things to note...

(1) If you want to fully reveal the results of your cut, you will have to drop your water by either coming off certain bulking steroids and switch to cutting ones, or taking anti estrogens

(2) "Cutting" drugs that drop water, harden, and reveal your cut, are themselves not very good muscle builders and do not work optimally for bulking periods
 
From what a friend of mine competing told me that dbol is out of date and no one uses it anymore. I can believe that. To this day it’s the only steroid that I hated when I used it. Looked like a water buffalo with puffy nipples and best red skin. Just gross. I don’t really hear anyone talking about using dbol on this forum either.

I love Dbol at a low / moderate dose. I think guys just push the dose too much and most I’ve spoken to agree with this. It’s that methylated estro that becomes nearly impossible to reign in for most with higher doses.

I only used 20 mg a day but it felt like I was just taking pure estrogen. Only thing to ever give me gyno and it was bad I’m lucky it went away

Yeah dude some people definitely get issues at lower doses. I do well up to 30mg but any higher and I feel the way you do on it.

Man about 10yrs ago i used to run it routinely. And would take it in 10mg doses split up throughout the day. Can’t remember how many hours in between, think i topped out at 60mg a day. But i had no issues and it was productive. And all the guys i around me in real life then were doing the same dose (not same timing) and loved it

for me it just got pushed to the background somehow 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think dbol is ok if the user is alright with the “moon face” and general bloat. I used it as my first cycle (only because my testosterone was fake) and I put on a lot of size, which I was ok with because I just wanted to get bigger.

I tried it once more a couple of years later and I hated it. I felt like I became so ugly with the fat face. The caveat is I took 40mg so it might have been better if I had used less. Still, I’d never use it again.

It's always worked great for me once I dialed in the dose. Never messed with my appetite, sleep or mood either. These days I don't run a lot of orals but when I do it's usually Superdrol. Hard to believe that stuff was OTC not all that long ago.

What are your thoughts on other orals drol, var, winny and even tbol? I know a while back there was a thread on running them on workout days only pre....if I recall some liked this approach some thought it was a waste
